Infrastructure you can actually see.

See your whole network in one app. Every site, rack and device, with live status and one-click SSH or web access. Runs on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Open source and built in Aotearoa.

Pulse
Every site. One map. Know what's down before the phone rings.

What is Pulse?

Pulse brings your network documentation and monitoring together in one place. Open a site, see every device and whether it's healthy, then connect to it straight away. It reads from the systems you already use, and your data stays with you, not us.

How it works.

Inventory.

Every site, rack and device on a map, down to the cabling. Know exactly what you have and where it is.

Monitoring.

Live health and alerts shown on the device itself, so you can see what's failing and where.

SSH and web access.

Open a terminal or a device's web interface in one click, without hunting for IP addresses.

Works with the APIs you configure, commonly NetBox and Zabbix. Not affiliated with either.

Three ways to run it.

App Store

Signed Mac app (v1.0). Free for 50 devices, with paid tiers for more. SSH, web and recording are never paywalled.

Mac App Store

GitHub

Open source under AGPL-3.0. Build, sign and run it yourself on Mac, iPhone or iPad, with community support.

Omega with you

We deploy, integrate and train your team, and host it if you want. You host and we support, or we run it all, with a path to running it yourselves.

Why open source?

So you can read it, run it and keep it, even if Omega disappeared tomorrow. No black box, no forever SaaS. Hosting and support are optional and priced as work.

Who it's for.

  • Councils and utilities that need one picture across sites.
  • Multi-site operators tired of mystery racks.
  • Anyone planning to own their stack.

Billed through Apple. Seats apply to billable devices only, not panels or other rack hardware. Paying annually saves up to 17%. See the Pulse Terms of Use.

Common questions about Pulse.

How much does Pulse cost?

Free for up to 50 devices. Growth covers 250 devices for NZD 14.99 a month or 149.99 a year. Pro covers 1,500 devices for 24.99 a month or 249.00 a year. Unlimited has no device cap for 49.99 a month or 499.99 a year. Billing is through Apple.

What can I do on the free plan?

The free plan covers up to 50 devices. SSH, web access and recording are never paywalled. Paid plans raise the device limit.

What counts as a device?

Seats apply to billable devices. Rack hardware Pulse treats as non-billable, such as patch panels, blanks and shelves, doesn't take a seat. Devices without a seat stay visible but can't be actioned until you have one.

Which devices does Pulse run on?

Pulse runs on Mac, iPhone and iPad. The App Store version is for Mac and needs macOS 26 or later. The open-source build on GitHub also runs on iPhone and iPad.

Do I need NetBox and Zabbix?

Pulse reads from the systems you configure, most commonly NetBox for inventory and Zabbix for monitoring. If you don't run them yet, Omega Networks can set them up, host them in New Zealand and support them.

Where is my data stored?

Your inventory, monitoring events, SSH recordings and settings stay on your device. The app connects directly to the servers you configure, and nothing is sent to Omega Networks. If you choose Omega hosting, your NetBox and Zabbix run on our servers in New Zealand under a services contract.

Is Pulse open source?

Yes. Pulse is open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence, with the source code on GitHub. You can build, sign and run it yourself with community support, or buy the signed Mac app from the App Store.

Is Pulse affiliated with NetBox or Zabbix?

No. Pulse works with their APIs, but Omega Networks is not affiliated with NetBox Labs or Zabbix.
