Health and Safety Policy

At Omega Networks, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees, contractors, customers, and visitors is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment and to continually improving our health and safety performance.

Our Commitment:

  1. We will comply with all applicable health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry codes of practice.
  2. We will set health and safety objectives and targets, and regularly monitor and report on our performance.
  3. We will identify, assess, and control health and safety risks associated with our activities.
  4. We will provide and maintain safe systems of work, plant, and equipment.
  5. We will ensure that all employees and contractors have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to work safely.
  6. We will engage with our employees and contractors in the development, implementation, and review of our health and safety systems.
  7. We will report and investigate all incidents and near-misses, and take action to prevent recurrence.
  8. We will prepare for, and respond effectively to, any emergency situations.
  9. We will promote a positive health and safety culture where everyone takes responsibility for their own and others' safety.
  10. We will continuously improve our health and safety management system and performance. 

Responsibilities:

  • The Directors are responsible for providing leadership and resources for the implementation of this policy.
  • Managers are responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented in their areas of control.
  • Employees and contractors are responsible for following safety rules and procedures, and for reporting any hazards or incidents.

This policy applies to all Omega Networks operations and will be reviewed annually.
